Design Plus, Inc. - Kaye Christiansen-Englert, FASID, NCIDQ, CAPS
Kaye Christiansen Englert, FASID, NCIDQ, CAPS, founded Design Plus, Inc. and has created timeless, published, award winning designs for over thirty years in many different design specialties including Commercial, Hospitality, Senior Living, Health Care, Custom Residential, Kitchens and Baths and even Corporate Jets. She understands interior design must meet functional needs and clients budgets while having the vision to create and transform spaces, whether new construction or remodel. Creating unique solutions to meet clients' desires is accomplished by listening to clients and using detailed programming to define the scope of work. Design integrity and client satisfaction are achieved by taking projects from conceptual design through installations. Kaye believes good design balances form and function - there is no reason to sacrifice either one. A recent client wrote, "Thank you for helping us turn a dream into a reality. It has been so fun and easy working with you." Kaye holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design and Advertising Design, has passed the NCIDQ Examination, Certificate #002366, is a Certified Commercial Interior Designer in the State of Utah, License #9886670-0401, is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and is a Professional Member of ASID currently serving as the Intermountain Chapter Government Affairs Chair. Kaye was recently inducted into the ASID College of Fellows, the Society's highest honor bestowed on professional members who have made notable and outstanding contributions to the profession, not only through their work, but through their demonstrated commitment to ASID and to the interior design industry and is a distinction bestowed on less than 1% of the ASID membership. Kaye also serves as an Ambassador for NCIDQ. She has served as the Intermountain Chapter President of ASID, served on the National Board of Directors of ASID and as Rocky Mountain Regional Vice President of ASID which covered Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.
