The AL-08 Bollard is a sturdy light fixture designed for outdoor use. It is constructed with 3.00" diameter aluminum, brass, copper, or black ABS material and features an aluminum or brass top (ABS has a black aluminum top, while copper has a brass top). The lens is made of white high-impact acrylic. The lamp options for the Bollard include LED and legacy options, as specified in the specification sheet. The socket is a single contact bayonet with a brass nickel-plated lamp socket screw shell (Ba15s) or a double contact bayonet base (Ba15d) for 120v, both with 200° C silicone lead wires.

The Bollard can be mounted in two ways: as a standard angle cut model with 4 black ABS stabilizing fins, or as a deck mount model (-DM) with an ABS mounting base. The 120 volt compact fluorescent Bollard version features a CFL single tube lamp with a 4100K color temperature and a 10,000 hour lifespan (7w max). It has an internal type 1 outdoor magnetic clamped core ballast with a 120v primary amp draw of 0.165 (not including lamp wattage). The 5w and 7w CFL lamps can be used interchangeably with this ballast, and 240v and 277v options are available upon consultation with the factory

The triple tube lamp options include 26, 32, or 42 watt CFL lamps with a 4100K color temperature and a lifespan of 10,000 hours. The ballast for the triple tube lamp is a 120-277volt 50/60Hz type 1 outdoor multi-voltage high power factor electronic program star ballast with a primary draw of 0.55A/120v through 0.22A/277v. The socket for the triple tube lamp is a GX24Q-3 4pin.
