A. Houck Designs has been creating spaces in the Washington area for over 20 years. Our work spans the style gamut, from traditional to modern, and balances beauty with function. Our portfolio represents a wide range of styles, from fairly traditional to more modern. We respect the time-honored design principles of scale, balance and proportion and know when to occasionally break the rules. Principal Designer, Andrea Houck is a member of ASID and IFDA. In 2015 the firm won the ASID Award of Excellence for residential interior design. The firm was selected twice to participate in the DC Design House 2013 and 2016, a not-for-profit charity that supports Children's Medical Center. Houcks work has appeared in numerous publications, including Flower Magazine, Home & Design, Virginia Living, The Washington Post and Arlington Magazine.
