Designs Anew Houston LLC - Barb Mueller, Allied ASID

Barb Mueller, allied ASID, AKBD, CAPS, leads Designs Anew Houston LLC and is an award winning, accredited kitchen and bath designer through the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). She has earned the CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) designation as awarded by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) which addresses home modifications for those who wish to age in their own home safely and independently or for those with disabilities. Barb is an award-winning designer, who earned a Masters Degree in Interior Design and has assisted over 1,300 clients since 1996. Barb taught at the Art Institute of Houston for 5 years and has also taught at Lone Star College and Houston Community College. Barb has presented at several national and international conferences including NeoCon, KBIS, Universal Design Conferences, and Delta Faucet Speakers Bureau. She has written articles and been featured in articles in magazines: Kitchen and Bath Business, Kitchen and Bath Design News, Qualified Remodeler, The Business of Furniture, Metropolitan Builder, Remodeling Magazine, and the Houston Chronicle.
