Joan is the Design Director and a principal at Interior Planning & Design, Inc. She holds an MBA and MPH from Benedictine University, a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art History from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Joan Studied Art and Design at the Loyola University Rome Center in Rome, Italy and has completed graduate coursework in the Architecture Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Joan is a Fellow of ASID, a licensed Professional deisgner in Florida and a Registered designer in Illinois. She has passed the NCIDQ exam. Her work experience as an interior designer includes positions withseveral Chicago architectural firms and an office furniture dealership before founding her own interior design firm in 1990. She has been an active member of ASID since 1988. Joan is a LEED Accredited Professional and is dedicated to Sustainable Design.
