SUSTAINABLE HOME - Kirsten A Flynn, Allied ASID, LEED GA, CGBP

Kirsten Flynn is principal designer at Sustainable Home. Kirsten has a design degree from Syracuse University and was the first recipient of the the Green Design Certificate from Caada College. She is an Allied Member of ASID, LEED Green Associate (LEED GA) CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional), Member of the US Green Building Council, and a Green AP through Sustainable Furnishings Council. She enjoys creating beautiful interior spaces that work for her clients lives, and speaking about green building as it relates to interiors. Sustainable Home was selected to design the interiors for Santa Clara University's entry into the Solar Decathlon 2007.The entry took 3rd overall in this international contest. She consulted with Stanford University on their 2013 entry. Prior to her career in interior design, she spent 14 years designing fabrics for apparel and home furnishings. She is a life long California girl, and loves hiking, biking, gardening and kayaking.
